Reports & Dashboards Specialist Superbadge- 2

Creating a custom report type... Custom report type It's Dashboard night!  Technically, dashboard night- round 1.... I wanted to create the 6 source reports for the Reports & Dashboards Specialist Superbadge, so I started by setting up the custom report type required for the "Contacts by Hobbies and Ratings" and "Contacts Without Hobbies" reports.   Don't start by doing this! Read the requirements slowly for the "Contacts Without Hobbies" report, and you will see three new fields that need to be created.  Create the fields - then create the custom report type.  If you, like me, skipped directly to the custom report, you will Adding fields to the custom report need to: 1) edit the "field layout properties" 2) drag and drop the new fields to the "Accounts" section. Getting started!  Salesforce Superbadge here I come! I'm back from vacation and ready for a challenge!  It's time for a new Superbadge... The final 4 steps for the Security Superbadge took about 20 minutes to complete, which is good because the Trailhead Baby is going on vacation tomorrow to the beach!  Extra sleep tonight. Challenge 3 I'm not going to share answers to the quiz questions, but you can get the answers by reading .   Challenge 4  - Field Level Security Hints: 1) To track a field - start with the object manager. 2) If a field does not exist, you can not encrypt or track field history.  I did not create any new fields. Challenge 5 If profiles were set up correctly the first time, this step requires a single click.  Done! Challenge 6 The final challenge requires two quick steps. Challenge 2: Record-Level Security Settings I created the three user profiles last time, so the starting point tonight was the next tier of security - roles.  I set up the roles per the provided org chart, making sure to follow the opportunity restrictions from the directions. Next, I set up the required user and assigned her to the correct profile and role. Hint:   Use a real email address for Samantha Cordero.  You will need to login as Samantha in order to create an opportunity for her.  While you are at it, go ahead and login to Salesforce1 as Samantha. Once Salesforce1 is enabled, you can set up the appropriate permissions.  You may want to take take a peek at a Salesforce Knowledge Article .   Me - as a Project Manager. Next, I addressed the special role - Project Managers Project Managers require a role, permission set, and a  sharing rule.  Whew! For the final step, I set up the remaining sharing rules in     order to ensure that users with the Inside Sales
