Baby bro - on the go! Dear friends- Something incredible happened today, and I just couldn't wait to share.  My 2nd birthday is coming up, and I have been dropping hints that a Dreamforce trip would be the perfect gift.  Perhaps it was the postcard that I mailed to myself from Astro.  Perhaps it was the freshly brewed coffee that I made and brought to mom in a Giants' mug on Saturday morning.  Regardless of the reason, I am headed to Dreamforce! (My little brother is headed into the kitchen - see photo!)  Us boys are going places! I have been reading "get ready" and "best tips" blogs for the past month, just in case mom decided to let me go.  The advice is geared towards everything you should bring, so here is my list of things NOT to bring.    A phone.  It's easy to send emails from the office, but from a phone - come on! Forget the charger, leave the phone in your diaper bag, and talk to people.  (Plus, I don't have a phone)  

These pictures show how I felt about the Lightning Experience Reports & Dashboards Specialist superbadge... My brother was about to take his first bite of applesauce, but he was leery of the spoon because mom gave him squash (yuck!) the day before.  After a quick taste, he decided that applesauce was a fantastic food.  I had similar thoughts after spending hours on the Einstein Analytics superbadge.  That badge was so picky on naming conventions that I was dreading another session of "what did I misspell?!"  Fortunately, this superbadge much less particular about names!  A quick taste of this superbadge, and I was eager for more.  Good job Salesforce!   Dashboard Tips & Error Messages Tip: The instructions indicate "each of the four models should have its own line...."  Which type of chart is comprised of lines?  Don't be afraid to play with the x axis values until the lines are labeled correctly.  (the Solar Bot types should be on the right i

I might complain about my brother sometimes...especially how he takes up so much of mom's time...but I've decided that he really is a nifty fellow.  Why the change of heart?  My brother has started to play with me!  He laughs when I poke his nose and tries to take toys out of my hand.  Right now he' taking a nap....so I'm off to edit some reports! Executive Report Tips: SolarBot Loyalty Revenue This report is tricky, but I don't want to give away the solution!  Something that helped was saving the report frequently.  When I made mistakes, I simply reverted to the last saved version.  Confused? Ice Cream time!  My mom did something incredible today.  She took me and my  brother on a walk- a normal afternoon activity- but added a surprise stop at the ice cream store.  It was wonderful!  A whole ice cream sandwich just for me.  After the walk, I received a rather vigorous scrubbing then off to a "nap" for trailhead time! Sales Reports Tips: Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities Picking the correct report type was tricky- for me at least.  Perhaps you are a reporting genius and picked the correct report the first time!  I started by thinking "which report will include the opportunities?" and tried report type 'Opportunity' then 'Opportunities with Products'.  Nope!  The problem with this approach: Some accounts may not have any opportunities!  These accounts have potential for SolarBots even though they do not have any opportunities currently.  Instead try a report type that starts with the primary object... then include the seconda
