These pictures show how I felt about the Lightning Experience Reports & Dashboards Specialist superbadge... My brother was about to take his first bite of applesauce, but he was leery of the spoon because mom gave him squash (yuck!) the day before. After a quick taste, he decided that applesauce was a fantastic food. I had similar thoughts after spending hours on the Einstein Analytics superbadge. That badge was so picky on naming conventions that I was dreading another session of "what did I misspell?!" Fortunately, this superbadge much less particular about names! A quick taste of this superbadge, and I was eager for more. Good job Salesforce!
Dashboard Tips & Error Messages
Tip: The instructions indicate "each of the four models should have its own line...." Which type of chart is comprised of lines? Don't be afraid to play with the x axis values until the lines are labeled correctly. (the Solar Bot types should be on the right in the charge legend!)
Tip: Only include the fields required by the instructions.
Step 8...almost done!

Those fields are correct. Did you create the chart? I'd like to take a deeper look- Would you email a few screenshots? (rebecca@capstorm.com)

ReplyDeleteWe can’t find the 'SolarBot Dashboards' folder with the correct access settings."
The folder access has been set to:

my user account - Manage
Research and Development - Manage
Are you sure that you want to share with Research and Development? Double check that
DeleteSorry, my bad. Report and Dashboard Admin -Manage. It still does not work with that set.
Deletehmmmmm Could you verify that the folder unique name is SolarBot_Dashboards
DeleteAnd the folder name is "SolarBot Dashboards"?
It was SolarBotDashboards. I changed it to SolarBot_Dashboards but the error remains.
DeleteThe unique name? The one with the "_" is the unique name, not the name of the folder...

I'd be this is something tiny. I'd double check the exact requirements for the component. It is likely a tiny bit too small or too large.
DeleteI am currently on this step as well, resizing the dashboard and it is getting me frustrated. Lol. I have resized it a hundred times with no luck. Please someone save my sanity!
DeleteHi everyone,
ReplyDeleteI am on the last step : challenge 8.
I am on the Solar Bot Page (Object SolarBot - Lightning record page) and trying to insert the dashboard SolarBot Impact. However, after dragging "Einstein Analytics Dashboard" component, I could not see any dashboard available in the field "Dashboard" and there is an everlasting loading icone... Anyone to get me through ? Thanks all !
The "Einstein Analytics Dashboard" is not the correct component. Try a plan old "Dashboard" on this App Page.
DeleteI could not find anything else related to Dashboard. I tried with Report Chart component but in Report field I do not find my dashboard which is not a surprise as it searches for report type and not dashboard. Is there any tips?
DeleteOK I clicked "Pages" drop down button and I find the right page and was able to find Dashboard. I passed the challenge. Thanks for the tip !
DeleteHi, I try to find the SolarBot App Page for the step8 but I cannot find it as an already created page. How can it be?
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your help! :)

ReplyDeleteChallenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong: The 'Solarbot Pipeline by Stage' component is the incorrect size or in the incorrect position.
Did anyone else struggle with sizing the top left component? I have tried clicking on the gear icon and switching from 12-9 column grids. I am not sure if it's asking for a 4 x 9 inches long component on the final report or one that is 4 cells tall and 9 cells wide?
I am stuck on the same thing. I have adjusted it a hundred times! Did you ever figure this out??

ReplyDeleteHi Trailhead Baby, I am encountering the following error in Lightning Experience Reports & Dashboards Specialist Superbadge challenge 7 "We can't find data organized by week on the 'SolarBot Status Averages' report". I have grouped the status date by Calendar Week, and set the averages for #Percent Occurred, Panel Temperature and Kilowatt Hours. I have checked various blogs and appear to be doing everything correctly. Any hints? Thank you so much.
