Sales Cloud Consultant Certification - Tips!





Hello friends,
It has been a while since I posted about a superbadge! Up next is either the Einstein Analytics Data Preparation badge or the Einstein Analytics and Discovery Insights Specialist... Any preference?  I started on the data preparation one a long time ago, but was frustrated by the picky syntax requirements and moved on to another project.

What has the Trailhead Baby been doing? Since you asked.... I learned to drive and tackled the Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Cert.  This was a surprisingly hard certification, even for someone who has 8+ superbadges.  If you are thinking about taking the test, there are a few topics to brush up on:
  • Territory Management
  • Multi-Currency (and advanced currency management)
  • Forecasts
  • Communities (Partner, Customer, etc)
Focusonforce has a stellar study guide and 4 full length practice tests! I studied...and studied...failed a few practice tests, then finally passed a practice test and decided to go for the real thing.  If you use the online proctoring option, camera angle can be difficult, so make sure to have a few books stacked on your chair so that the proctor can see your whole laptop and testing area.  (The look on the proctor's face when he saw that a 2 year old would be taking the test = priceless)

    Whenever a company decides to hire an outside consultancy firm or consultant, it will be necessary to sign a consultancy agreement before such a hiring takes place. The company may decide to hire these consultants on a temporary basis for the duration of a particular project or programme.

Hello all! It's time for another superbadge! I started this superbadge a long time ago... it's time to finish it!  My goal is to complete this badge before my little brother starts to walk.  He's getting close... Step 1 - A quiz.  You're on your own! Step 2- This is one checkbox in setup.  You're on your own! Step 3- Let's talk about that.... Dataflow. Challenge 2: Record-Level Security Settings I created the three user profiles last time, so the starting point tonight was the next tier of security - roles.  I set up the roles per the provided org chart, making sure to follow the opportunity restrictions from the directions. Next, I set up the required user and assigned her to the correct profile and role.
