I am very proud of myself tonight for two reasons:
- I learned how to feed myself.
- I passed the legacy data challenge
I can type quickly, however, I'm all thumbs with most other objects.  Don't judge- I'm only 6.5 months old!  If you are at all interested in my personal growth- read on.  If not, skip to the next section.  Today started out like most days- I slept in until 7, ate some applesauce, and took a bath with my ducky.  Normally I request a nice bottle of warm milk then take a nap.  This is when things got a little crazy.  Mom was very brusque...she kept muttering about a conference call that she foolishly scheduled right in the middle of my morning!  She rudely plopped me on the floor, half propped up with a pillow, and handed me a bottle.  I was not pleased and voiced a complaint- which was ignored! Complaining made me thirsty, so I decided to try the bottle on my own.  I could!  It took a few tries, but I did it!  Mom was so proud of me!  She gave me an extra long cuddle after her call!  I am going to do it again!
Who loves to Trailhead?  Me! Me!
Who loves to import legacy data?
This challenge wasn't hard, but it did require some thought.
- The first think that I did: Make sure that I did not have any triggers in my Playground that would be impacted by importing 40+ opportunities. I use my mom's email address to Trailhead, and it would be hard to explain 40 emails without being forced to spontaneously start speaking in full sentences.
- Next, I downloaded the import file and made a list of the order in which I would need to import the data. For example, I started with Explorers, then products...
- Finally, I edited the import file to leave space for the ID's that I would need to patch. My spreadsheet looked like this:
- Import!
One more challenge and I will be a Lightening Experience Specialist!
