Finally processed!

Proud of myself! Hardest challenge yet!

It took 6 nights, but I finally finished the process builder projects! Usually I play on Trailhead. This week, it was hard work. I am going to take tonight off and stay up during the day- skip the afternoon nap. Perhaps mom will take me to the park!

Advice for difficult trails

Look for help
After 10 tries, I did a google search for help. The developer community saved the night! I felt better after seeing that many adults had trouble with the challenge. I bet that I am the first baby to get it right!

Ask for help
My mom doesn't let me go to the User Group meetings, but I wish I could!

Don't give up!
I am a Trailhead expert, and it still took 14 clones of the process to finally get it right!

Look back
The next challenge is using a data loader to add legacy records. Before I start clicking, I am going to search for other modules using data loader and practice!

A confession - I know next to nothing about service cloud. While I was excited that a new superbadge was available, it made me a little nervous that I had to do all of the prerequisites and tackle new things like macros. The best present? Santa says that I am getting a little brother in April! Let's import some data! It's simple to mass delete the records if there are inserted incorrectly - and you have me to help! The goal with this post is to move beyond the "how" of data import and explain the "why." The challenge makes more sense when you think about the relationships between the objects. I'll explain more below. First: A confession I, the Trailhead Baby, am not a perfect Salesforce admin. Even though I completed this entire Superbadge in 2017, I still messed up the data import badly enough that I had to mass delete all of my records and start over. Quick tip: It may help to delete the existing data before you start the import.
