During the afternoons, I've been raising money for Salesforce certifications and chocolate cupcakes by operating a Trailhead genius bar in the front yard. So far, nobody has stopped by. I gave up and headed inside to start a new project. It's time for another Superbadge! Thank you Salesforce for keeping the code-free superbadges coming!
As always, start a new Superbadge by reading the pre-notes! Step 1 is to install the unmanaged package. A tip for installing packages:

I do not like editing .CSV files, so I saved the doc to my desktop, then opened it as an excel file. There are only 15 total accounts, so the changes were made manually. A few items to note when doing a data import:
Save the file into notepad. Replace the semi-colons with commas, save. Open the notepad file with excel, then save as a .CSV.
As always, start a new Superbadge by reading the pre-notes! Step 1 is to install the unmanaged package. A tip for installing packages:
- If you are working on the same machine that you use for other Salesforce Orgs, the package may attempt to install into the incorrect org. To change the org, copy the URL of your Trailhead Playground and insert it into the URL of the unmanaged package install page. An example:

- The values need to be separated by a comma. If you get something like the picture below where all of the fields are smashed into one line....

Hi ! I have a problem as I'm always getting the error message "Residential Sales assets unmanaged package is not installed" even though i have been installed it. How to solve the problem ?
ReplyDeleteTwo things to check:
Delete1) Was the package installed for all users or admin only? You will want to install for all users.
2) Did you complete the other steps in the challenge as well? (adding the account type / importing data).
Hi
DeleteI also have same error. I also cleaned the data and imported the CSV file and added the Residential account type and I keep getting this error message
Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:Some billing state names do not meet data quality standards, or the data import was unsuccessful. Please help me .
Pull a list view and look for the problem account.
DeleteHINT- There is data in your org before you did any import. Salesforce includes some default accounts... that may not match the requirements of the challenge
DeleteHi!
DeleteI've installed the package for all users and all the data has been imported with proper data and no duplicates. But I'm still getting the error that says - "Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong: Residential Sales assets unmanaged package is not installed." even though I uninstalled and installed the package again and again. What can be the issue?
Did you install for all users?
DeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to complete the first challenge of this superbadge, I have already cleaned the data and imported the CSV file and added the Residential account type and I keep getting this error message
*Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
Some billing state names do not meet data quality standards, or the data import was unsuccessful.
*
the billing state names are meeting the criteria (well it looks like but something is not right) any clue that could help me solve this? Thanks!!
Sure! I hit this error too - but not from the import- from the records that were preexisting in the org prior to doing the import. I found the issue by extracting all of the account names / state names then looking in the extraction file to find the issue. (If I recall correctly, there is only 1 that you will need to edit.)
DeleteHi all, any news about this issue? I'm facing the same
DeleteDelete the records that exist by default in the org. OR - create a list view to find out which org does not have a 2 digit billing state.
DeleteHello, I am still receiving this error mentioned, after trying all the tips and tricks suggested.
DeleteAnything else i can try to resolve the error for Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:

Thank you
Hi, were you able to get this resolved?
DeleteHello! I am trying to complete this challenge however after I import the data, they said that the Account object does not have the correct values for the 'type' field. How do I fix this?
ReplyDeleteHave you created the account type? If so, during the import, did you add this value on your spreadsheet for proper mapping?
DeleteHi ,
ReplyDeleteI am getting the following issue for the given unmanaged package:
This app can't be installed.
There are problems that prevent this package from being installed.
Package Not FoundThe requested package doesn't yet exist or has been deleted. If this is a recently created package version, please try again in a few minutes or contact the package publisher.
Can someone look into this and help me here.
Thanks!!
No idea from me! This is not something I've seen before! What a bummer!
DeleteI'm experiencing the same issue, i don't find a way to install the unmanaged package!
DeleteThis is really odd! See this article- You may need to submit a case:

My error is that "Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
ReplyDeleteAll accounts must have a type." One problem, every single one has a type. after I got this error I went even as far as to Require and give errors if anything was put in without a type. Everything was in compliance and just yea, It won't submit.
hmmm That's a new one for me. I assume that you already ran a report to ensure that all accounts have a type? Or list view?
DeleteHINT - I took a look at my org...this wasn't a requirement when I took the superbadge apparently because 1 account "Sforce" which is part of the standard demo data set is missing an account type.
I am having the same issue and have checked everything, all accounts have a type now. Could you please tell me what did you do to fix this error?
DeleteI did not encounter this error.... Did you verify that all accounts have a type in a list view?
DeleteSir, how can I import and use csv file in this challenge?

Could you share a bit more information? And, check for any existing accounts that were in the org before the import to ensure that they also match the challenge requirements.
DeleteHi camn you please give me information on how to download the CVS file? Where do we get the file from??
ReplyDelete? The CSV file should be in-line with the instructions.
DeleteI am facing this error.
ReplyDeleteChallenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
Some billing state names do not meet data quality standards, or the data import was unsuccessful.
Do a double check of the raw data. I believe that there is 1 record with an incorrect value.
DeleteI am checked all the data quality standards
ReplyDeletejust add a new picklist value 'Residential' in 'type' field on account object and then try your challenge.
ReplyDeleteHow can we add it on standard Objects
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeletewhen I try to import the .csv file but I get an error that has to do with mapping, although I followed the instructions that are mentioned early in this post about commas, notepad etc. More specifically, the system tells me that it is unmapped. What steps do I have to follow to overcome this issue?
Many thanks in advance for your help,
Leda
What did the system say was unmapped?

The question is, why do companies ask for drug testing? Here are some of the main reasons why your workplace may ask someone to undergo drug testing: • Job safety: Many jobs require a high level of coordination and level-headedness. If you're operating dangerous machinery, for example, your employer needs to know that you're in the proper state of mind. • Legal requirements: Certain professions, such as healthcare or government jobs, are required by state and federal laws to maintain a drug-free environment. If the agency fails to do so, it may face legal issues. • To identify drug use: This is the most obvious reason for company drug testing. If a company has a stringent no-drug policy, any future employees will be out of the running for employment at that company.
ReplyDeleteThis is too funny not to share...spent hours with the same error until I re-read for the accounts to NOT be in all caps.
