We are almost done with the Einstein Analytics Data Preparation Superbadge! Only one step left, and my brother took his first step today! Granted, his first step was while trying to take a swim in the "house pool," so I am going to have to keep an eye on him. He is taking a nap now, so I can finish up this superbadge.
The best way to diagnose the JSON issue is to upload the file to a dataflow then try to run it. You might see some errors like this.... so create the data set and fix the node.
Once you clear the big error boxes, it's off to the data monitor to see what is causing the dataflow to fail. The silly filter critera took me a while to sort out, so, after a few random guesses, I read up on filter expression syntax. You can too:
- Filter Expression Syntax: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=bi_integrate_filter_transformation_expressionsyntax.htm&type=5
The rest of the fixes are fairly simple - a box to check, syntax error...etc.
HINT: You can't filter by a field that does not exist.
Many Thanks! You enlightened my way to get my very first Super Badge. God bless you.
ReplyDeletePls mention the steps to solve the first error. RESOURCE NOT FOUND
ReplyDeleteI believe that this is because the data set is not found. A "Seed Bank Orders" is referenced but not present.
DeleteNot sure how to fix this - Something went wrong while executing the Add Agency Fields node: Field [ShippingStreet] is missing in 1 out of 2 inputs - does this mean that street has to be in both Load Account and Load Agency datasets?
ReplyDeleteDear Trailhead Baby,
ReplyDeleteAfter being stuck for a while, I now successfully completed the Superbadge - Einstein Analytics Data Preparation Specialist. The guidance and comments provided in your blog was very apt and useful. Importantly, this process (of referring to your blog) has actually helped me learn - to think through when struck with a problem and seek out the possible solution to move forward.
Its been 2 years since you first created this Superbadge_thread and still continues to be the best resource out-there. Your little brother must be now full of bountiful energy and running around - best wished to you and him to grow by leap and bounds.
Thanks!
Hi, I have completed Diagnose and Troubleshoot an Unsuccessful Data Load challenge 8.
ReplyDeleteI have created the lens according to the requirment.. But still i am getting error
"Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
We can't find the 'Load Seed Orders' node in the dataflow. Confirm the node name matches the name as described in the challenge."
But i do have Node named "Load seed orders". If u dont mind can i share my JSON file?

Hi, May i know what is the error?
DeleteHi Vidhyah, below is the error
Delete"Challenge not yet completed.. here's what's wrong: We can't confirm the correct values were found.. please check your work"
.. My data flow is getting executed without any error and dataset also got created and then lens.
I tried many options which are available online and also re-created dataflows many times freshly.
But no luck. Please help me
Sometime this happens for me too.. clear the browser cache and try again.. If that doesn't help try in a new org.
